Girls Weekend in Charleston, SC with Meg & Ang

Two of my favorite girls, Meg (my sister) and Ang (my cousin), flew down to spend a long weekend with me in Charleston! Meg had been here once before, but only for a whirlwind 24 hours to help me move, and this was Ang’s very first time in Charleston. So, I made it my mission to give them a true taste of the Lowcountry.

They arrived Friday evening and headed home Monday afternoon, which gave us the perfect window to soak up all the Charleston charm. It was such a fun, relaxing, joy-filled weekend. We didn’t overplan, we simply let the city guide us. Charleston has this magical way of slowing you down in the best way possible…yummy food, gorgeous scenery, and even better company.

Each time I host visitors, the weekends somehow get better and better. There’s just something about this city that keeps people coming back, and I absolutely love getting to share my new home with the people I love most.

Until next time, Meg and Ang! Let’s get into the full recap!!

The first stop after picking these two up from the airport was Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams!
After a good night’s rest, we headed to a super cute coffee shop I recently discovered near my apartment, Point Break Coffee & Drive Thru.
Obsessed with the vibes in here!
Then, we headed right to Folly Beach!
Point Break Coffee‘s in hand!
We had a gorgeous beach day!
Sista sista!
After enjoying the beach for a few hours, we headed to King Street for some shopping!
We didn’t make it far before stopping at my favorite ice cream shop in Charleston, Off Track Ice Cream!
Off Track Ice Cream makes their ice cream from scratch using only clean ingredients sourced fresh from our Lowcountry. They never use any artificial flavorings, additives, or stabilizers and they are super-allergen friendly. Sweet treats done right!!
A little summer storm couldn’t stop us from walking around a bit more…
Another must-stop was The Impeccable Pig. Ang found THE cutest dress here!
After the storms let up a bit, we headed down to the Battery.
The views never get old!
And of course we had to see Rainbow Row!
Charleston has beauty around every corner!
We woke up bright and early on Sunday morning to head back to Rainbow Row and explore more of South of Broad!
An iconic Charleston view on Broad Street!
We made a little pit-stop at Sorrell, an Italian inspired cafe on Broad Street.
Then, we dove into more charming streets.

I simply cannot! So beautiful.
A walk through the College of Charleston on our way to grab a bite to eat!
Charleston looks good on you two!!
Basic Kitchen is my go-to spot!
Meg and Ang loved it!
We headed back to Folly Beach Sunday afternoon to enjoy the beautiful day.
Then, we took another quick trip to King Street before the shops closed.
Monday morning we went to Point Break Coffee & Drive Thru for breakfast because it was just that good!
After grabbing breakfast, we headed to the pool. Our sweet friend from home, Peyton came to hang with us!
Peyton’s in the south for the summer, and it was so good to catch up with him!
And that’s a wrap! Thanks for scrolling through our girls trip in Charleston!

There’s more where this came from, so be sure to follow along and come back for all of the fun Charleston content!
