There are some sessions that just feel extra special, and Lucy & Hank’s golden hour session at Hampton Park was one of those magical evenings I’ll never forget. The setting sun, the soft breeze, the glow of two soon-to-be parents soaking up every moment…it was everything I enjoy about photographing love and life in the Lowcountry.

This fall, Lucy & Hank will be welcoming their baby girl into the world, and it was such an honor to help them announce this joyful new chapter. Hampton Park gave us the perfect mix of soft blooms, glowing light, and peaceful corners to pause and reflect on the beauty of what’s to come.

Lucy’s radiant smile and Hank’s joy created the sweetest energy. There’s something so tender about these early days of anticipation…the waiting, the wondering, the dreaming and this session captured it all so perfectly. Their connection, their excitement, and the gentle way they held each other…my heart could hardly take it!

Lucy & Hank, thank you for inviting me into this once-in-a-lifetime season. Watching you two together, with so much love already wrapped around your baby girl, was a joy in every way. I hope these images become a treasured part of your story and something to look back on with full hearts as your family grows. Congratulations, you two! xo
