Mak’s Lowcountry Senior Session in Charleston, South Carolina

Mak dreamed about her senior session for years, and getting to watch her Pinterest board finally come to life was such a special experience! Traveling in from Florida just for her senior session, Mak had a vision for beautiful Lowcountry scenery, warm light, and a session inspired in part by The Notebook. We spent the morning wandering through the trees, soaking up the sunshine, and taking our time exploring everything this beautiful setting had to offer. She even brought along her pink graduation cap and two childhood stuffed animals, adding the sweetest personal touches to her portraits and making the session feel even more like a celebration of her senior year.

Of course, we had to include a little boat ride, too! There was something so fun about slowing down and taking in the Lowcountry scenery from the water. Watching Mak experience it all after waiting for this moment for so long made the morning feel even more meaningful. One of the things I love the most about being a Charleston senior photographer is getting to bring each senior’s vision to life, especially when they’re traveling from out of town to make it happen. Mak knew exactly what she had been dreaming about, and I loved getting to turn those ideas into a senior experience that was completely her own.

Mak, thank you for trusting me to bring your vision to life and for making the trip to Charleston for your senior portraits. I hope your gallery is everything you imagined and more! xo
