Surprise Proposal at Magnolia Plantation: Madi & Matt’s Magical Moment

Some stories are simply meant to unfold like a fairytale…Madi and Matt’s proposal at Magnolia Plantation was exactly that. From the very beginning, Matt poured so much love and thought into planning the perfect surprise. For months, we kept everything under wraps, working behind the scenes to make sure every detail would create the most special moment. And when the big day finally arrived? It was everything we hoped for and more.

The weather had threatened to interrupt our plans, but in a twist that felt almost like fate, the storms paused just long enough for Matt to get down on one knee in one of the most breathtaking spots not only on the plantation, but in all of Charleston, SC. It was intimate, heartfelt, and full of joy. Truly one of the most beautiful moments I’ve had the honor of witnessing and capturing.

Madi’s reaction was priceless, and the happiness between these two was absolutely contagious. After the big “yes,” we took advantage of the calm skies to wander through the gardens and capture some magical just-engaged portraits. Magnolia Plantation’s dreamy Spanish moss, blooming gardens, and timeless charm created the perfect backdrop for this chapter of their love story.
