A Destination Senior Session in Charleston with Lillyannah

Some senior sessions are about more than beautiful photos…they’re about celebrating an exciting season in a place that already holds memories. Lilly traveled all the way from New Hampshire and made a special trip to Charleston while vacationing in the Carolinas to celebrate her senior year. I always feel so honored when families choose to make Charleston part of such an important milestone, and this session was no exception.

We started the morning wandering the colorful streets of historic downtown Charleston, where the soft, glowy sunrise light couldn’t have been more beautiful. From charming architecture to iconic Charleston views, every corner felt like the perfect backdrop for celebrating Lilly’s senior year. As the morning continued, we ventured to one of the Lowcountry’s most scenic spots, surrounded by lush greenery and peaceful landscapes. It offered a completely different feel from downtown while showcasing another side of what makes Charleston so special.

One of my favorite things about destination senior sessions is creating an experience that feels just as memorable as the photos themselves. Whether it’s exploring the city’s historic streets, discovering hidden Lowcountry gems, or simply soaking in a summer morning together, every session tells a story that’s unique to each senior.
