Aubrey and Kelly’s Twin Senior Session in Charleston

The only thing better than celebrating one senior is celebrating two…especially when they’re twin sisters! Aubrey and Kelly’s senior session was months in the making. From the very beginning, we talked about how we could create an experience that celebrated the bond they share while also giving each of them space to showcase their individual personalities, styles, and stories. With five hours together and stops all around Charleston, we had plenty of time to make the session feel completely their own.

We explored some of my favorite Charleston spots, from the colorful homes of Rainbow Row and the charming streets of South of Broad to Philadelphia Alley, the Mary Garden, and finally the beach at Folly. Each location brought something different to their session, and watching both girls come alive in front of the camera was one of my favorite parts of the day.

Some of my favorite details weren’t locations at all…Aubrey and Kelly brought along their American Girl Dolls and childhood stuffed animals, creating the sweetest little nod to the girls they were growing up and the young women they are becoming. Those personal touches made their session feel even more meaningful. Five hours somehow flew by with countless laughs, so many conversations, and more favorite images than I know what to do with. It was one of those sessions that reminds me how lucky I am to be invited into such an exciting season of life.

Aubrey and Kelly, thank you for trusting me to capture this chapter for you both. Spending the day with you and your sweet mom was an absolute joy, and I left with such a full heart. I hope these photographs always remind you of this season, the bond you share, and all the fun you had together along the way! xo
