Izzy’s Sunrise Senior Session at The Battery & Rainbow Row in Charleston, South Carolina

Some senior sessions are beautiful because of the locations, the outfits, or the light, and then there are sessions where the person in front of the camera makes the entire morning feel a little more special. Izzy’s senior session was absolutely one of those! Traveling in from North Carolina for her Charleston senior portraits, Izzy joined me for a sunrise session through some of the city’s most iconic spots. We started along The Battery before making our way through the charming streets of South of Broad and ending at the colorful homes of Rainbow Row. With the golden morning light following us along the way, Charleston couldn’t have looked more beautiful. And then there was Izzy herself. Full of joy, personality, and so much heart, she brought such a bright energy to the entire morning. Between the outfits she loved, the beautiful Charleston scenery, and, of course, plenty of pink, her session felt completely personal to her. One of my favorite parts of being a senior photographer is getting to show seniors a side of the city that feels like theirs. For Izzy, it was a morning spent exploring a city she loves and creating portraits that capture not only this season of her life, but so much of who she is right now.

Izzy, thank you for bringing so much joy and excitement with you! Getting to share this incredible morning exploring downtown Charleston with you was such a gift, and I hope these photos always remind you of the person you are today and all the bright things waiting ahead! xo
