Skylar’s Hampton Park Senior Session in Charleston, South Carolina

The best senior sessions start long before the camera ever comes out, and from our very first conversation, I knew Skylar’s session was going to be something special! Traveling to Charleston for her senior photos, Skylar was excited for the experience, and getting to spend the evening exploring one of my favorite spots in Charleston together made it even sweeter.

We spent the evening wandering through Hampton Park, taking in the blooming flowers, towering oak trees draped in Spanish moss, and all the beautiful little corners that make this one of my favorite places for Charleston senior photos. The soft evening light filtering through the trees was the perfect finishing touch, and between locations, we filled the time with the sweetest conversations and plenty of laughs.

One of my favorite parts of being a senior photographer is getting to know the person behind the photos. Skylar brought such a fun energy to her session, and watching her relax, laugh, and truly enjoy the experience made the entire evening feel effortless. The final gallery is full of the beautiful Charleston scenery she came for, but even more than that, it captures the joy of this season of her life.
